I'm David Robertson Mitchell and I'm The Brand Rover.
This was the nickname given to me during the nine years that I was the Brand Consultant to the Mercedes F1 Team; thank-you Clare and Dan!
Brand has long been a passion of mine and I'm fascinated by the impact it has on the reputation and success of individuals, businesses and sports teams.
Over the last thirty five years I've worked with brands of all shapes and sizes:
The process of defining a brand requires me to ask direct and often difficult questions, with the need for honesty and openness from the client for the process to work really well.
Brand, branding & marketing are often misunderstood and confused with each other. I cut through the noise and simplify the process to make sure we are all talking about the same thing.
I am able to draw on my experience of many industries and challenges, both business and personal, as I help you define your brand and work out how use it to get you where you want to go.
I never tell clients what their brand and branding should be. My role is to help them through the process, asking the right questions that will eventually deliver the answer.
I avoid the latest fads and fashions of the marketing industry and try to deliver a solution that is practical and workable within your own business or career.
Defining the brand for a business or an individual can be a soul-searching exercise. I approach it with diplomacy and tact, understanding the impact it can have; with discretion guaranteed.
