I'm David Robertson Mitchell and I founded and lead The Brand Rover agency.
This was the nickname given to me during the nine years that I was the Brand Consultant to the Mercedes F1 Team.
Brand has long been a passion of mine, but what fascinates me most is what sits behind it: the leadership, culture and clarity that decide whether a business or an individual thrives or stalls.
Over the last thirty five years I've worked with brands of all shapes and sizes:
Increasingly, that work starts before brand even enters the conversation. It means helping founders and CEOs build the leadership, governance and culture their business needs to grow beyond them

Defining a brand means asking direct, sometimes difficult questions, and it only works well when clients are honest and open throughout the process.
Brand, leadership and marketing are often confused with each other. We cut through the noise and make sure we're solving the right problem, not just the most visible one.
We draw on experience across many industries and challenges, both business and personal, from brand and reputation to leadership and organisational structure, to help you get where you want to go.
We do not tell clients what their brand and branding should be. Our role is to guide them through the process, asking the right questions until the answer becomes clear.
We steer clear of marketing fads and fashions, and focus on solutions that are practical and workable in your business or career.
Defining the brand for a business or an individual can be a deeply soul searching process. We approach it with tact and diplomacy, fully aware of its impact, and we always work with complete discretion.
